a good run
Dick Winters, famed commander of Band of Brothers‘ Easy Company and all-around awesome guy, died on January 2. He would have been ninety-three in February. If ever there was a right way to fight a war, I believe Winters found it. He was good to his men during the war, and then he was good to everyone else after. What’s not to love? I wish his family healing and his soul peace.
