kitchen rules, subheading dishes.

1. If it looks relatively clean, but you’ve used it, and the dishwasher is in “loading” mode, put it in the dishwasher.
2. If it looks clean, you’ve used it, and the dishwasher wants unloading, put it in the sink.
3. If it has crap in it, rinse it out and go to the top of this list.
3a. If there is too much crap to rinse down the drain, empty it into the trash and go to rule 3.
4. If it has crap on it, rinse it off and go to the top of this list.
5. If it has crap stuck in it, scrub it out and go to the top of this list.
6. If it has crap stuck on it, scrub it out and go to the top of this list.
7. If the stuck-in crap is too stubborn for scrubbing, soak it in the sink, then go to rule 5.
8. If the stuck-on crap is too stubborn for scrubbing, soak it in the sink, then go to rule 6.

Mind you, if it has literal crap on it, ew, ew, bleach, boil, or just smash/incinerate and be done with it.

If you make me a graphic I will love you forever. I will also print out and laminate a copy for my kitchen. What, you didn’t think this was a random organizational exercise?
