Teacher looks for lonely kids and has done ever since Columbine.
I remember Columbine. I was maybe thirteen. I was lonely, too, though it never once occurred to me to kill anyone. I could hardly stand up for myself, much to my parents’ chagrin.
This teacher, ever since that day, knew that lonely, ostracised children were the ones most at risk, and she made a point of reducing that risk. Still makes it.
Massive respect. Much love.
